These Terms govern your use of Inwyt, the website at https://inwyt.link, its event pages (such as yourevent.inwyt.link) and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
Inwyt is an independent solo venture owned and operated by Pasan Nissanka, an individual based in Sri Lanka, trading as "Inwyt" ("Inwyt", "we", "us"). When you use the Service, your contract is with Pasan Nissanka. Contact: [support@inwyt.link].
2. Key terms
- Host: a person with an Inwyt account who creates and manages events. Also "you".
- Team member: a person a Host invites to help manage an event on a Studio plan.
- Guest: a person a Host invites. Guests do not need an account.
- Event page: the invitation website we host for an event.
- Host Content: anything a Host adds, such as names, dates, venues, text, photos and design choices.
- Guest Data: information about Guests, whether the Host enters it or the Guest submits it (for example RSVPs, dietary notes, messages and photos).
- Plan: Free, Celebration or Studio, as described in section 5.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract to create an account. If you use the Service for a business (for example as a wedding planner or studio), you accept these Terms for that business.
- Give accurate information and keep it current.
- Keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account and your team members' activity.
- Tell us at once at [security@inwyt.link] if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. The Service
Inwyt lets you build an event invitation website, manage a guest list, give each Guest a personal invitation link, prepare invitation and reminder messages, collect RSVPs, collect and moderate guest photos ("Guest Moments"), plan seating, and export your guest list. Some features depend on your Plan. Features marked "coming soon" are not part of what you buy until they are released.
Invitations and reminders are sent by you, from your own device and accounts: we prepare the message and open WhatsApp or your email app, and you press send. We do not send messages to Guests ourselves, and we do not guarantee that any message is delivered or read.
5. Plans and the life of an event
Every event is live, then archived (read-only; the event page shows that the invitation has ended), then deleted. Archived events still count toward your Plan's event limit.
| Plan | Price | Events at once | How long events stay live |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | US$0 | 1 | 30 days from when you choose Free. Available once per account. |
| Celebration | US$19, one-time | 2 | 12 months from purchase. You may delete and re-create events within that period. |
| Studio | US$49/month or US$490/year | 5, plus paid extra slots | While the subscription is paid. |
Each Plan also has limits (such as guests, photos and languages per event) and features, shown when you choose a Plan. When you reach a limit you cannot add more until you free space or upgrade.
- When a Free or Celebration period ends, its live events are archived automatically. We email you 7 days and 1 day before that happens. Studio is described in section 6.
- An archived event is deleted automatically 14 days after it is archived. We will email you when an event is archived and again 3 days and 1 day before deletion. Export anything you need before then.
- You can archive or delete any event at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We remove deleted events and their Guest Data from our live systems within one day; copies in backups and logs expire as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You can restore an archived event before it is deleted only if your Plan is still in its period and has a free slot. After a Free or Celebration period ends, restoring means buying Celebration again (another 12 months) or subscribing to Studio.
- Prices are in US dollars. We may change prices for future purchases; we will give Studio subscribers at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to them.
6. Payments, renewals and cancellation
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
- Paddle charges applicable taxes. Your bank may add currency conversion fees; these are not set by us.
- Studio renews automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
- If a Studio payment fails, or your subscription ends, your events stay live for a 14-day grace period, are then archived, and are deleted 14 days after that. Paying again within those 28 days restores everything. Moving from Studio to Celebration is not currently offered.
- Add-ons (extra event slots, extra team seats) are billed with your Studio subscription and end when it ends.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. If a full refund is approved, the Plan it paid for ends and its events are archived at once.
7. Your content and your guests
- You keep ownership of your Host Content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, adapt (for example resize images or apply templates) and transmit it, only to run and improve the Service for you. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies in backups that expire on schedule.
- Your event page is public to anyone with the link unless you choose otherwise. Do not put information on it that you would not want shared.
- You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload, including photos and text, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
- For Guest Data you are responsible, as the organiser, for having a lawful basis (for example a personal relationship and an expectation of being invited) to add people's names and contact details, and for telling Guests, where the law requires, that you use Inwyt. Ask Guests only for what you need for your event. We process Guest Data only on your behalf and as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms our data processing terms with you.
- If you add children as Guests, you confirm you have permission from their parent or guardian.
- Only send invitations and reminders to people connected to your event. Respect any Guest who asks not to be contacted; our opt-out tools suppress that channel.
8. Guest Moments
If you turn on Guest Moments, Guests can upload up to 5 photos each to your event. Photos appear only after you approve them. You are responsible for what you approve and publish. A Guest who uploads a photo confirms they have the right to share it and gives you and us a licence to display it on your event page and let you download it. Guests can ask you, or us at [support@inwyt.link], to remove a photo.
9. Invitation links
Each Guest gets a personal link that shows their own invitation and RSVP. Anyone holding a Guest's link can view it and respond as that Guest, so send each link only to that Guest. You can regenerate a link at any time, which stops the old one working.
10. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- send spam, bulk commercial messages, or messages to people with no connection to your event;
- post unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or infringing content, content that exploits minors, or content that violates someone's privacy;
- impersonate anyone, or create events that mislead Guests (for example to collect their data or money);
- upload malware, probe or disrupt our systems, bypass Plan limits, or access another Host's data;
- scrape, copy or resell the Service or our templates (running events for your own clients on a Studio plan is allowed);
- break WhatsApp's, your mobile carrier's or your email provider's terms.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
11. Our property
The Service, our templates, designs, music library, software and brand belong to us or our licensors. You may use templates and music only for events created in the Service. Free and Celebration event pages show Inwyt branding. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
12. Third-party services
The Service relies on and links to third parties such as Paddle, WhatsApp, and email and mobile providers. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their services.
13. Changes and availability
We aim to keep the Service available, especially event pages and RSVPs, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, including on the day of your event. We may change, add or remove features. If a change materially reduces a paid Plan you have already bought, we will tell you and you may ask for a pro-rata refund of the unused part.
14. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time; your events and Guest Data are then deleted as described in section 5. We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect Guests or the Service. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your data. If we close the Service for reasons other than your breach, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid Plan.
15. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not responsible for your event itself, your Guests' replies or attendance, what Guests upload, or messages sent through third-party apps. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot be limited by law.
16. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows: (a) we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or lost profits, data or goodwill; and (b) our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
17. Indemnity
You will cover our reasonable losses and costs from a third-party claim arising from your Host Content, your Guest Data handling, or your breach of these Terms.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Colombo have jurisdiction. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. If you are a consumer, you also keep any mandatory protections and court rights of the country where you live.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will email Hosts at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service; a Studio subscriber may cancel before the change applies.
20. General
If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
